The problem with older stories + stuff

So, when I was around 13 - 16 years old and just reading on fictionpress, I was always baffled over why authors would take down a story. They said it was because they had improved in their writing, didn't like the story anymore, etc. and I didn't get it because obviously people liked the story... so why take it down?

Now I understand.

Demons of the Heart is a mess. I've known that it's a mess for a long time. I also know that a lot of people liked it, and I liked writing it. I learned a lot of things by writing it. However, it definitely doesn't represent how I write anymore. I won't be taking it down, but I think I might add (at least on Smashwords) an addendum mentioning that DotH was created and written by a seventeen year old.

Anywho--

The next two weeks are the last of the semester, so I will be dealing with ... that. I have a werewolf fic I'm working on without posting that will probably be around 15k. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

Oh no! The first story of yours I'd read! Glad you're keeping it up. While it's obvious your talents have improved considerably, that story is like a guilty pleasure I like to re-read on occasion!
